Bach Flowers Essences Therapy

Dr. Edward Bach was a British physician who in the 30s, developed the Bach flower remedies, a form of alternative medicine inspired by classical homeopathic traditions.

The Bach flower remedies treat our emotional and psychological states such as depression, anxiety, lack of focus, panic, stress, fear, loneliness among other mental states. The remedies do not treat our physical diseases.

Flower essences have been used in different cultures, from the ancient Egyptians to the aborigines in Australia. Nowadays, flower essences are used in hospitals and clinics throughout  Australia and other regions around the world.

The original Bach flower remedies are made of 38 flower essences. The remedies are natural, non-toxic, non-habit-forming, and can be combined with traditional treatments.

Flower remedies treat our mental and emotional states, not our physical symptoms.

The remedies do not substitute medical treatment and you should always inform your physicians when taking flower remedies.

“Healing with the clean, pure, beautiful agents of nature is surely the one method of all which appeals to most of us”

Journey to Simple Healing, Edward Bach and his system of flower remedies – The Bach Centre

My name is Barbara Fiori, I am a Biologist, a Certified Flower Essence Practitioner, and a member of the Flower Essence Society in California. I have been fascinated by flowers since I was a little girl. Growing up, I was lucky to be treated by a great homeopathic physician. He treated among other maladies my terrible asthma with success. The homeopathy remedy he prescribed was Grindelia robusta, which comes from a small yellow flower. A few years ago, I started researching the Bach flower remedies and since then I’ve been studying the literature and scientific papers, taking courses in England, the U.S., and Brazil, attending seminars, and having hands on experience by treating clients, myself, and my dogs.

After a bout of melanoma, over 10 years ago, adopting a more natural lifestyle and researching non-toxic alternatives for everything from food, and cleaning products, to non-toxic remedies, became a way of life.

Flower remedies are a big part of my personal evolution. The effects are subtle and at the same time run deep. It’s like peeling an onion. The layers come off one at a time. We make adjustments according to how we feel at certain days, weeks, or seasons. We may feel more grounded, energetic, serene, excited, or less anxious. Our needs change depending on what is going on in our lives. I invite you to join me in this beautiful journey to find internal balance and tranquility.

On the first interview – free of charge – which lasts about 20 minutes, we’ll chat about how the flowers essences work as well as your objectives and expectations in relation to the flower therapy. Then, we will schedule your first appointment. Appointments are conducted online, via Google Meet or Zoom.

My to-do list was a few pages long. My ability to concentrate on any task longer than 15 minutes was poor at best. These were the symptoms that Barbara helped me to reverse. She was attentive, thoughtful, and listened without judgment.
She was judicious in her Bach flower practitioner assessment. Wise and insightful, she recommended a Bach remedy blend that would rebalance and ground me, and I decided to give it a try. A few weeks later my to-do list is practically empty, I endure 8 hours in front of the computers working productively. I just started a third blend with high hopes that I will recalibrate myself as she envisioned. Barbara is an exceptional Bach practitioner. I’m recommending her to all my friends who need to find the perfect treatment to regain purpose and balance.

“The effect of the flowers will embrace you slowly. You will forget it and one day you will wake up less anxious, feeling more grounded, trusting the process again. The biggest positive effects on me were more focus, less procrastination and feeling less spent.” Lallo L.
